Note that "Palestine" isnt even an Arabic word but "Palestinians" Are arabic speaking. Philistine isnt and never was the same context as "Palestine" .
Sadly Modern ideologies have clouded & confused the two to be one in the same, thus perverting facts (history). This perversion (Lies) when embraced substantiates the modern "Palestinian" agenda.
1) PHILISTINE
Honest & Historical --> maps <-- show PHILISTINE. It was a Territory (which the Word confirms) that Narrowly reached up the west coast as far north as "Ashkelon" & BORDERED the territory (house) of Judah. The territory of Philistine exsisted SEPERATE from those of Israel. This territory consisted the area we call the Gaza Strip of Today and about the Same Size. Philistine NEVER Possessed (included) the area of the modern West Bank in its day (such a concept can only be supported through perversion). Thus Philistines have no claim to any part of Jerusalem yet they often fought with Israel in their day and would have loved to be given such lands. According to the Word the Philistines best advancement of Israeli land was the penetration as far North as Adullum, At the gates of Jerusalem. Again todays Gaza Strip was the location of Philistine of Old. This small area wasn't Israel (yet today many can understand why Israel controls the air and borders of this territory for defensive purposes). Gath was like a Captial of Philistine. The area around the borderline of Judah and Philistine was the valley of Ellah, where David slew the giant.

Sure certain people want to point to a map with the terms Palestine. If "Palestinians" are those who lived in the land that Was Later Called Palestine By The West then this same concept would apply to Jews as the allied forces clearly understood.
Note: Many Jews left their homes (and even relocated resting places of familes) in Gaza in the name of peace only to recieve violence and lies in return. Those that live in Gaza today elected a terrorist representation.
Islamic Palestinian extremists fight and kill for the land yet demonize zionisim? I find that to be ironic. When we look at the mandate, Jordan made up More than the state of Israel was given (often called Palestine and Trans Jordan). But you dont see "Palestinians" enraged against Jordan do you? That fact doesnt help the Palestinian agenda which is obviously rooted in hate for the Jews. Jews avoid worship at the most sacrid location in the Faith (Temple mount) out of the name of peace. Taking the mount would likely cause a world war. Filthy islam has marked the temple mount as theirs in the time of the gentiles.
2)"PALESTINE" is a rather new term in relation of time. Its a term given to a sactioned off land by the (Western) Allied Forces of World War 2. To Further document this - The Term "Palestine" doesnt exsist in the Arabic! So how does it identify an arabic peoples or territory? The Greeks, British and French coined and put this term into international use.
The stance of scripture states that the people to dwell in the Land known today as Israel (Palestine) were the Jebusites (a Canaanite tribe) (ex.3:8,17; 13:5... Joshua 15:63,.....). Land doesnt simpley belong to who settled there first. In all honesty Land belongs to who possesses it. Internationally we look to international Law to determine who possesses any given land and Israel was clearly established according to international Law. Others look to religion to determine such things. However anyone with faith in any meaningful "Almighty G-d" knows that no nation (state) can exsist without it being allowed by G-d. Its according to this concept that the a believer in the quran should know that it is the will of God that the state of Israel exsists today (Surah 3:26). Not to mention the sources of Jews Christians and muslims have all said the land was given to the Jews Gen.10/ Gen.15:17-21/ Gen.13:2,29/ Surah 17:100-104/ Surah 5:20-21/....

According to some the term Palestine means "land of the Philistines". However with logic, and historic facts the area of Philistine was south west of the Israeli tribal territories (Gaza). This is an area which currently houses the terror group Hamas amoung others.
Avvites (Deut.2:23 / Josh. 13:2-3) dwelled there in the time of Abraham, they were conquered by the Caphtorites (an ancient tribe of the "Egyptians"). All kinds of people could be considered "Palestinians" since many peoples settled in the area throughout history. With this mindset you can call anyone who lives in the land Palestinian. This would include Jews! Many of the people that support the "Palestinian" agenda cant be accused of being real educated. The ones that do come across as having a level of intelect use it for perversion and hate. This is why they have a form of history that never exsisted and cant be supported with facts.
A Greek people were among the first to assume the title of identification of "Palestinians"along with arabic refugees from Jordan. The Land of "Palestine" was a possession of The British who named it so. The same forces that set up the "Jewish" state. The international forces approached both "Jewish" and Arabic ("Palestinian") leaders with a opertunity to set up an Arab state and a Jewish State. The Jews accepted the Arabs rejected and insisted on immediate war instead. (propostion181).
Modern archaeology in the area shows evidence in relation to Mycenean influence from Greece in the area! Yet you dont hear Greeks with an ideology that Israel is their land.

The orgin of the term "Palestine" is Greek not arabic or Aramaic. Its earliest use within the international community began with Brithish Interests of Their land possessions:(The British mandate) (Franco- British Boundary Agreement/ 1920) and (The Transjordan Memorandum/ league of nations/1922) which the so called Palestinians refused.

During the time of the British mandate, the Brits had a currency (Hebraic and Arabic) to be use in the territory of the mandate. The symbology on these "palestinian" coins is that seen used by the Isreali government today!
