Soul Sleep? (SFT)

Okay I will share my responce, Open discussion Study! Feel Free to share and or comment.

First what is Soul?
Gen.2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Soul here is nephesh and is to say: A Living Breathing Thing. The Breath (nashama) is a living breathing thing (soul) before it ever entered into the dust, yet after it enters the dust (flesh) then MAN becomes a living breathing thing. And we are told that at phy. death the Spirit (Ruach) returns to the Father who gave it (2 Cor.5:7-10) and the flesh enteres the grave. (Ruach and nashama are used interchangeably Gen.7:22/Job.27:3).
So in the context of soul sleep (when one passes over) is to mention the state of the soul in which one calls Man and Not the state of the Spirit. The physical body enters the Grave and returns to the dust (Ecc.12:6-7)
We have BOTH a spirit body and a flesh body- 1 Corinthians 15:44

Spirit is liked unto the wind.Jn.3:8 That which is unseen! You can see the effects of the wind but not the wind it's self! Just as you can see fruits and works of the spirit but not the spirit.
What else is unseen? Faith(Heb11:1), Love, (Intelect (mind), ideologies), Belief, (rememberance) and so on.......(divine intelect = Holy Spirit= truth).

At physical death we are told that the flesh and spirit seperate. The death of the flesh is often mentioned as sleep in the Word. We have a f1st (phy.) and 2nd death (Spiritual) in the Word. The flesh goes back to dust and the spirit returns to the Father who gave it.-
This is also why 1 Thessalonians 4:15 reads as it does, we can't prevent (preceed)them that have passed over cause they have already Passed over!/Ps. 104:29/ 1 Cor. 15:50-1 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

So to be absent of the body (2 Cor. 5:8)would give perfect sence to the body that is "asleep" not having thoughts and such, cause such things are SPIRITUAL and the spirit isn't in the physical grave! When you die You don't go into a hole in the ground your Flesh does.

1 Corinthians 15:53-54
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Corruptibe- flesh body gets old, sick, open to infection and injury
incorruptible- spirit body- does not get old, don't get sick
Mortal- The spirit body is still able to die (2nd death)
Immortal- resurrection- eturnal life!:)
One must know the details of both the spirit(body) and flesh (body) to understand so many scriptures!

**Note at the 7th trumpet in the twinkle of a eye (instant) ALL shed the flesh (are changed/ 1 Cor.15:50-52 /1 Thess.4:17/ (2 Cor.5:8/ Ecc.12:6-7)/ Rev.19:18/ Heb.9:27/ (Matt.24:31...) not that some fly away. At that instant since all shed the flesh they then see into the spirit realm. That is why it is said ALL will bow a knee to Christ when he comes, not that some will fly away!
Note Christ told the malefactor THIS day I will see you in paradise.

When the women went to the tomb and Christ was gone remember what was said unto them! Luke 24:5 Why seek ye the living among the dead? Many today are ignorant to what takes place at physical death.
(1 Thessalonians 4:18- how many have the eyes and ears to precieve the truth?)

Ps.6:5 is speaking of spiritual death! More extreme than physical death and it leads to perdition (to perish). The memory of those who go into the lake of fire will be no more. It will be as if they never exsisted(Ecc.9:5). Just as the sins of those who have repented God says he doesn't want to hear about it again when he forgives you of a thing.(Blotted out)/ Psa 115:17 vs. Psa 115:18

Psalm 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts(`eshtonah) perish.
`eshtonah- Plans, thoughts, purposes No more earthly plans, agendas or such these things pass away. Don't over look the term PERISH. this can only be speaking of the second death! Or else if one sees this as physical death how do they call themselves a Christian?
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
Countless other scriptures document this and so many that speak of belief that Christ had victory over death. God isn't raising a bunch of numb skulls!

There has been much revealed to us that people such a Job had questions about and yet today few are comparing the scriptures to embrace what has been revealed while the enemy distorts and perverts religion. Traditions of men make void the Word of God- Matthew 15:6,3/ Mark 7:9

* In Acts 2(:34-35) we see that it says:
For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
Once again let us rightly divide the Word. This is speaking of how man serves as an instrument of God, For David had not yet asended into heaven (no man asendeth that hath not ascended!) yet the Holy Spirit speaks through him in truth. To those who understand the "pentecost tongue" (language of the Holy Spirit (NOT babel but rather heard by all in their own language) it makes perfect sence that this scripture not only followed but is part of the explaination of This miraclious Penetcost!

1 Corinthians 15:12-25 (King James Version)

12Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

14And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

15Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. (not our flying away)

24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Hebrews 2:14 (King James Version)

14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
