Symbolisim (got milk)

Enoch was given GREAT wisdom that he communicated to Egypt via symbology. Egyptians began to worship the symbols over their meanings.

Fish Christian Symbol

The use of the Ichthys symbol by early Christians. Ichthus (ΙΧΘΥΣ, Greek for fish) can be read as an acrostic, a word formed from the first letters of several words. It compiles to "Jesus Christ, God's son, savior," in ancient Greek "Ἰησοῦς Χριστός, Θεοῦ Υἱός, Σωτήρ", Iēsous Khristos Theou Huios, Sōtēr. CHRISTOS
An early Christian Ichthys symbol carved into some marble in the ruins of Ephesus, Turkey.

This is more of a translation than a symbol but is good to add to a symbol!
INRI is an acronym of the Latin inscription IESVS·NAZARENVS·REX·IVDÆORVM (Jesus Nazarenus, Rex Judaeorum), which translates to English as "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." The Greek equivalent of this phrase appears in the New Testament of the Christian Bible in Mk 15:26 (ο βασιλευς των ιουδαιων) / Lk 23:38 (ο βασιλευς των ιουδαιων ουτος)/ Mt 27:37 (ουτος εστιν ιησους ο βασιλευς των ιουδαιων) / Jn 19:19-20 (ιησους ο ναζωραιος ο βασιλευς των ιουδαιων) /

*The Chi Rho is one of the earliest christograms used by Christians. It is formed by superimposing the first two letters in the Greek spelling of the word Christ ( Greek : "Χριστός" ), chi = ch and rho = r, in such a way to produce the monogram.

THE SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE OF NUMBERS (Bullinger study on numbers)
More indepth spiritual significance of numbers:

if you continue to follow links u will see that the Companion bible referances a numeric chart from the book "God counts" by one "Ivan Panin" which converted after recognising the numerical codes against odds of the bible. He went own to spend 50 some odd years devoted to biblical numerics and found and published many interesting facts that schoalrs today still find to be inspiring.
Chuck Misler shares some of these point here:
Pt1 http://youtu.be/flbaJfRwYxM
Pt2 http://youtube.com/watch?v=pxYwLvtnoyc

This Is Appendix 10 From "The Companion Bible"-KJV.
Numbers are used in Scripture, not merely as in Nature, with supernatural design, but with spiritual significance, which may be summarized as follows 1 :-

1 ONE. Denotes unity, and commencement. The first occurrences of words or utterances denote their essential significance, in interpretation. Words that occur only once, in the originals, are emphatic and important. First day, Light. The first occurrences of all important words and expressions are noted in the margin.

TWO. Denotes difference. If two different persons agree in testimony it is conclusive. Otherwise two implies opposition, enmity, and division, as was the work of the Second day. Compare the use of the word "double" applied to "heart", "tongue", "mind", etc.

3 THREE. Denotes (earthly) completeness, as three lines complete a plane figure. Hence, three is significant of Divine perfection and completeness. The third day completes the fundamentals of creation-work. The fourth, fifth, and sixth days are the counterpart and repetition of the first, second, and third, and correspond respectively. (See the structure of Genesis 1) The number, three, includes resurrection also; for on the third day the earth rose up out of the deep, and fruit rose up out of the earth.

FOUR. Denotes creative works (3 + 1), and always has reference to the material creation, as pertaining to the earth, and things "under the sun", and things terrestrial.

5 FIVE. Denotes Divine grace. It is 4 + 1. It is God adding His gifts and blessing to the works of His hands. The Hebrew Ha'aretz (the earth), by "Gematria" (that is to say the addition of the numerical value of the letters together) is a multiple of four, while Hashamayim (the heavens) is a multiple of five. The Gematria of (charis), the Greek for Grace, is also a multiple of five. It is the leading factor in the Tabernacle measurements.

SIX. Denotes the human number. Man was created on the sixth day; and this first occurrence of the number makes it (and all multiples of it) the hall-mark of all connected with man. He works six days. The hours of his day are a multiple of six. Athaliah usurped the throne of Judah six years. The great men who have stood out in defiance of God (Goliath and Nebuchadnezzar and Antichrist) are all emphatically marked by this number. Physical

7 SEVEN. Denotes spiritual perfection. It is the number or hall-mark of the Holy Spirit's work. He is the Author of God's Word, and seven is stamped on it as the water-mark is seen in the manufacture of paper. He is the Author and Giver of life; and seven is the number which regulates every period of Incubation and Gestation, in insects, birds, animals, and man.

8 EIGHT. Denotes resurrection, regeneration; a new beginning or commencement. The eighth is a new first. Hence the octave in music, colour, days of the week, etc. It is the number which has to do with the LORD, Who rose on the eighth, or new "first-day". This is , therefore, the Dominical number. By Gematria (see above), (Jesus) makes the numbers 888. It, or its multiple is impressed on all that has to do with the Lord's Names, the Lord's People, the Lord's works.

9 NINE. Denotes Finality of judgment. It is 3 x 3, the product of Divine completeness. The number nine, or its factors or multiples, is seen in all cases when judgment is the subject.

10 TEN. Denotes Ordinal perfection. Another new first; after the ninth digit, when numeration commences anew. (completeness)

ELEVEN. Denotes disorder, disorganization, because it is one short of the number twelve (see below).

12 TWELVE. Denotes Governmental perfection. It is the number or factor of all numbers connected with government: whether by Tribes or Apostles, or in measurements of time, or in things which have to do with government in the heavens and the earth. (Order- organization)

THIRTEEN. Denotes rebellion, apostasy, defection, disintegration, revolution, etc. The first occurrence fixes this (Genesis 14:4); and the second confirms it (Genesis 17:25). It, and its multiples, are seen in all numbers, and in the Gematria (see above) of all names and passages that are associated with rebellion, etc.

17 SEVENTEEN. Denotes a combination of spirit and order (10 + 7). It is the seventh prime number (as 13 is the sixth prime number).

Other numbers follow the laws which govern the smaller numbers, as being their factors, sums, products or multiples: that is to say 24 is 12 x 2, a higher form of 12.

25 = 52. Grace intensified.
27 = 33. Divinity intensified.
28 = 7 x 4. Spiritual perfection in connection with the earth.
29 = 33. Intensifying of Divine judgment.
30 = 3 x 10. Divine perfection, applied to order.
40 = 10 x 4. Divine order applied to earthly things. Hence, the number of probation.

The four perfect numbers, 3,7,10, and 12, have for their product the remarkable number 2,520. It is the Least Common Multiple of the ten digits governing all numeration; and can, therefore, be divided by each of nine digits, without a remainder. It is the number of chronological perfection (7 x 360).

MENORAH
This symbol can be spoken on all day long. First off it symbolizes light, (truth) the Word and presence of YHWH.The support system of the light which is the menorah symbolizes the "church", many membered body, Israel (spiritual), and all that serve as instruments of bringing forth God's Word (the "elect"), Priesthood.

Rev.1:12-13 / Matt.5:15 / Mark 4:21 / Luke 8:16 ,11:33 / Heb.9:2/

The Menorah is spoken of within new and old testaments. Rev.1:20 (Rev.2:1,*5)
The nine branch menorah has great signifcance within Jewish observances of Hanukkah and is called a Chanukiah.
*(In My Blog I go into Detail on who the two churches are and who the two prophets over the two churches are, all these make up the many membered body and the first fruits)
Rev.11:4

The first Menorah to be set up in the temple of old was made of a single mass of gold and formed by Bezalel.

John 4:10-15- Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

Jn.7:37-39 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. Early Christian symbols (Anchor, Fish, and Chi Rho) found in catacombs of St. Sabastian (cira around 2nd century).

The anchor is a very early Christian symbol that has been found in the catacombs (One anicent find is shown within this thread!). It brings together the cross and the various nautical Christian symbols (fish, Fishermen, boat), and it symbolizes Christ being the foundation (Rock).

Several anchors have been located near Noah's Ark believed to be those of the ark.
These anchors bare ancient markings where Christians and believers of old also had known their locations.
It isn't hard to see that true peace would be the absence of evil, deception, pride, hate, and so on. A pitch fork pointing down can be seen as disreguard for evil and with a cross above it, one can find the symbolizim that Christ overcame evil. I find it interesting that a peace symbol is a pitch fork upside down! And interestingly enough there is a cultish gang running the streets that worship the devil and their symbol is the pitch fork pointing up only. To point it down shows them disrespect. The members of street gangs embrace evil ideologies such as drug use, prostitution, violence, robbery (stealing) and most all he ways of our enemy.
This symbol to me show victory over the enemy through Christ.

Always wondered if I would cross paths with someone else who used this symbolizim. I don't know where the above use of this symbol comes from but it also uses another symbol with the shape of a dimond of which goes to say that god the Almighty that is Alpha and Omega has victory and his will shall be done FOREVER!
The Dove Symbolizes Peace, Mercy (Love), Pureness, *The Holy Spirit- Matt.3:16 / Mk.1:10/ Luke 3:22/ Jn.1:32/, Humbleness - Matt.10:16

In Gen. Noah sent forth a Dove /Gen.8:8-11/ The dove returned with a Olive Branch thus symbolizing the begining of a new covenant. The Dove desending upon Christ (THE BRANCH) was also a symbol of a new covenant!

Christ showed how the many membered body is to work as one when he was physically baptised by John before witnesses proclaiming The Father. At this time The Father proclaimed Christ as The Son of God (Emmanuel).
John exspressed how the dove was a Sign to him that Christ was The Son of God.
Jn.1:32-34
And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. (Matt.3:16 / Mk.1:10/ Luke 3:22/ Jn.1:32) /Like

Its a basic instinct for dove to stay a safe distance from man just as most wild animals do. A dove has no other defense from preditors which are many. however the dove was drawn to Yeshua by The Spirit od COMFORT.
____________
Gifts from the 3 wise men.
1) GOLD - symbol of Royalty /Kingship (virtue)/ (given to a King, just as all the stars were showing Christ to be: http://friendsnchrist.ning.com/group/historyastronomyastrology/foru...) Some say that all three gifts were commonly given to a King.
2) FRANKINCENCE - symbol of Priestship / (Prayer) The priestly incense as instructed to Moses consisted of mixing spices with Frankincense(Ex.30:34). Frankincense is mention in many places: /Ex.30:34/ Lev.2:1,2,15,16, Lev.5:11, Lev.6:15, Lev.24:7, Num.5:15,1 Chron.9:29, Neh.13:5,9, Sol. 3:6;4:6,14, Matt.2:11, Rev.18:13
known as the perfume of the sanctuary, symbol of the divine name (used at times when it is instructed to use the sacrid name: Mal.1:11, Cant 1:3),
emblem of prayer cause it was believed that prayers ascended up with the incense (or vise versa) as a favorable aroma to The LORD (Ps.141). This was the priestly duty (burning of incense)of Zecharius (father of John the Baptist)
3) MYRRH Symbol of annointing (Prophet, Priest, King) also used in embalming which some may go as far as to say that he would conquer death and that he was a spiritual King (olive /oil/ also mentioned in this thread on symbolisim.). (suffering)
Myrrh and Frankincense are types of resin! The resins are BLED from their host plants. It is produced through a reaction to a Purposeful Wound through the surface (bark) that enters into the sapwood. (To pierce , bleed) The gashed and holes are symbolic of the wounds of Christ that he took on our behafe.
The Anointing oil Moses was instructed to put together consisted of the primary ingrediant of Myrrh! (Ex.30:23-33 (Ps.45:7-8). Used to annoint people homes, ....
Myrrh is used as a Medication by many cultures and much of its uses have to do with the blood system. Myrrh is mentioned in The WORD several times: Gen.37:25, Gen43:11, Ex. 30:23, Est.2:12 (purification of unclean women), Ps.45:8, Prov.7:17, Sol. 1:13, Sol. 3:6, Sol. 4:6,14, Sol.5:1,5,13, /Matt.2:11, Mk.15:23 offered at crusifixtion, Used during burial rights of Christ Jn.19:39.
Is.60 and Ps.72 shows such gifts being given By kings and thus many see the "wise men" to also perhaps have been kings. (such a conept is also found in greek mythology as kings gave the Same gifts to "apollo" who was a symbol of prophacy, healing, poetry and so on...)
(The annointing of prophets and kings 1 Sam. 10:1; 16:13, Ps.89:20, 1 Kings 19:16)
Hyssop is a aromatic plant. The plant is used in Ex.12:22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and *strike (H#5060) the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
Ps.51:7 *Purge (H#2398/cleanse) me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
during the beating Christ was offered a drink which consisted of myrrh (Mk.15:23), but during crusifixtion he was offered another drink,
Jn.19:29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar (sour wine),:and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon HYSSOP, and put it to his mouth, vs.32 When Jesus therefore had recieved the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and bowed his head and gave up the ghost.
Mk.15:36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
Both Matthew and Mark mention this occasion but mention the useof a reed- καλαμος (kalamos).
Hyssop was used in the act of the fisrt Passover and in the Act of its fulfilment in Yeshua The Christ (1 Cor.5:6-8).
Hyssop is mentioned elsewhere:
Ex.12:22 , Lev.14:4, 6(dip), 49, 51, Num.19:6 (Cast), 18(sprinkle), 1 Kin.4:33, Ps.51:7, Jn.19:29, Heb.9:19

Wheat
Wheat Pictures, Images and Photos
Symbolizes the many membered body (those who go forth). We are told we have both a physical and spiritual body! Bread sustains a flesh body yet durring the exodus angel's food (manna) did as well. Christ became our sacrifice(Passover,Sabbath) for is body became the bread of life. Matt. 12:24

The wheat symbolizes the Word and ministry! We feed our spirits with truth. Look at the times Christ blessed the bread and asked that his Disiples spread it out amoung the people!
The Word became flesh in Jesus Christ. Those who serve as instruments of the Holy Spirit are seen as wheat.

The SUN
The Sun is used to symbolize The Light that is Christ in a few places in Scripture. The sun is used here as a metaphor only. These verses are Not speaking of a sun god.

Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

6 point star (The star of Moloch was a 6 point star)
as is the aka Shield (Star)of David/ Magen David
Meaning of symbols are within the eye of the beholder. The Enemy seeks to relate to the same symbolizim of The LORD throughout the WORD. There are many views of the Star of David. There were two star symbols that were often raised up in ancient Israel amoung certain people.
Here we see both stars together in the decoration of an archway that still stands behind the remains of Kepha’s (Peter’s) parent’s home.

1) "the Shield of David" ("6 pointer")/6- earthly man and kingdoms
2) Star of Solomon ("5 pointer")/ 5- grace and Torah
(Today satanists also use the same images. They turn the 5 pointer upside down)
✡Acts 7:43
Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

The Paleo Hebrew dalet is a triangle. Two of which make up the shield of David. One pointing upwards (which can be seen as embraceing devine revelation and guidance, to embrace spiritual growth with The Almighty) The other triangle points downward (which could be seen as an act of straying from God and embraceing earthly lusts and kingdoms). This shows a conflict in domains and alligances! We know the serpent was one who pushed the knowledge of good & evil.

Jacob wrestled with the Angel of God and his name was changed to Israel which is to mention a relationship with The LORD.
The 6 pointer is called a HEXagram. Hex - to call on negative spirit.

Can anyone find postivies within the 6 point star?
Could this be related to the 12 tribes of Israel classified in Deut.27:11-13 (Ex.28:12). Here we are told that the 12 tribes are divided into two groups of 6 (indentions and raised points) one group told to stand on the mount of blessings and the other to stand on the mount of cursings.
There is a traditional view of the Shield (star) of David. One legend (traditions of man)says that the shield David used in battle had a center frame that consisted of two overlaping triangles. Throuhout the battle they were fused together.
The picture below is the actual ancient ceiling of a "Jewish" synagouge showing the same image that was used to mention the idol that was being worshiped when Moses descended the mount.

The Star of Moloch and Remphan (Acts.7:43) is known to relate to Saturn (of which is the 6th planet and considered a wondering star AND has the formation of a HEXagram on its pole)

Amos 5:26 / The Septuagint's reading raiphan or rephan strands from the Hebrew Chiun or Kewan. The Greek forms are probably simple mistakes for the Hebrew (for it isnt a direct translation), k (qoppa) having been replaced by r (resh) and ph substituted for v (yod). Kewan is probably the Old Babylonian Kayawanu, THE PLANET SATURN, another (the Akkadian) name for which is Sakkut, which appears as Siccuth in the earlier part of the verse. With this knowledge you can look at Saturn (hubble images) today and on its pole it clearly and almost shockingly displays a hexagon (seen below). It being the sixth planet it often appears to be a star (source of light) but is actually disguised as such (2 Cor.11:14 Satan himself is transformed (disguised G#3345) as an angel of light and his angels as ministers of light) (As the moon- all prophacies of Satan are given in moons(mounths) and not in days or years (solar). So with the etymology of the name points to a hex itself which trumps mans commentaries. Interestingly enough the symbol its self is made up of 6 lines, 6 points and 6 indentions (666) and hex is a term often used to say to call on negative spirits

6 represents man, earthly realm (6 th day of creation), tribulation,... Saturn has a hexgon on its top side. Which is the shape found inside of the 6 point starand could be used to enclose a 6 point star (A Hex).

We have mens commentaries claiming Saturn relates to Shabbat. Certianly it was disguised as something it wasnt. The idols of Isreal were given false glory. Shabtai comes from Shabbat it isnt Shabbat and i would like someone to show me God's Word relateing Saturn to Shabbat.

The Menorah is The symbol of Spiritual Israel , The church,... Yet the 6 point star is the symbol of the physical political earthly nation of Israel. Commentaries of men lift this image up high. I personally no longer hold this image up. I choose not to allow it to represent Isreal, the Kingdom, The King, The Messiah, or my faith. I have tried to list good and bad viewpoints and feel that ones personal view is reflective of their spiritual state.
http://www.flyingchariotministries.com/thestarofdavid.htm .

LINK to article on the subject alone http://willntestament.blogspot.com/2013/03/star-of-remphan.html
TO SUM UP MY VIEW the 6 point star represents BOTH Good and Bad (of Israel) and can seen both in a negative or postive way.
The lilly under the bowls of the menorah would have cast a image of the 6 point star on the floor with its shadow.
One can note the 6 points in both the shield of David and the ☧ Chi Rho! Which could symbolize the fact that the sceptre (or scepter in English) of David belonged to our Messiah. *Gen.49:10 (-Luke 3:33)/ Num.24:17/ Heb.1:8 /* Is.9:7/-*Luke 1:32-33
Seeing that Christ is Lord of lords and King of kings this scepter can also be seen as a shepherds staff!
